The Oilers struggled against the Xpress 5-2 in home game

Justyn Gillis came up big, stopping 34 of 39 shots throughout the game. The Southern Tier Xpress took the lead before the halfway point in the third on a goal from Nic Allen.

Cole Barney did his part, adding 2 assists. Christian Juliana chipped in with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist) and Tristan Mock delivered for his team with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist).

During the first, Juliana opened the scoring for the Xpress with a goal at 3:40 with a helper from Crowley.

In the second period, Pearson netted a goal at 0:31 with a helper from Gerace. Kesto finally put Wooster on the board with a goal at 18:58 with assists from Hillebrecht and Barney.

In the third, Allen answered for Southern Tier with what turned out to be the game winning goal at 8:21 with assists from teammates Gerace and Lamison. Mock quickly followed with a goal at 9:45 with helpers from Wilcox and Zwieg. Kepple put in a goal at 12:54 with helpers from Mock and Juliana. Critzer quickly followed with a goal at 13:13 with assists from Barney and King.

This loss brings the Wooster Oilers’ record to (17-16-3-0).
