In the first, Zwierecki opened the scoring for Wooster with a goal at 7:43 with helpers from his teammates Crosby and Seay. Hay quickly followed with a goal at 8:59 with assists from Layne and Healy.
During the second, Lekarev answered for the Oilers with a goal at 2:34 with helpers from Steele and Kelly. Radley answered for the Mustangs with a goal at 12:43 with an assist from his linemate Keil. Stewart scored what turned out to be the game winning goal at 17:22.
This loss brings the Wooster Oilers’ record to (20-21-3-1).
