During the first, Kesto opened the scoring for Wooster with a goal at 2:59 with helpers from King and Hillebrecht.
In the second period, Smith answered for Lansing with a goal at 1:07 with assists from his teammates Redman and Pipper. Barney answered for the Oilers with what turned out to be the game winning goal at 3:11 with helpers from Critzer and Dickinson.
Wooster’s victory was in no doubt helped out by Hubbard as he stopped 19 of the 20 shots he faced. On the other hand, Hubbard’s counterpart, Finstrom, and Lansing’s defense did not have such a great night stopping only 20 of 22 shots.
This win brings the Wooster Oilers’ record to (8-7-0-0).
