Malinak netted what turned out to be the game winning goal at 14:37 with helpers from Barney and Tasker. Friedman answered for Pittsburgh with a goal at 17:50 with assists from Martz and Oslick.
Wooster’s victory was in no doubt helped out by Hubbard as he stopped 24 of the 26 shots he faced. On the other hand, Hubbard’s counterpart, De Simone, and the Vengeance’s defense did not have such a great night stopping only 21 of 24 shots.
