Michael Hubbard came up big, stopping 31 of 32 shots throughout the game. The Wooster Oilers took the lead before the halfway point in the second on a goal from Zach Zwierecki.

In the second, Malinak opened the scoring for Wooster with a goal at 7:47 with helpers from teammates King and Frieson. Zwierecki netted what turned out to be the game winning goal at 10:19 with assists from his linemates, Kesto and Frieson.
In the third period, Snyder finally put Toledo on the board with a goal at 15:30 with helpers from his linemates, Williams and Perry. Critzer answered for the Oilers with a goal at 19:54 with assists from Banyasz and Barney.
Wooster’s victory was in no doubt helped out by Hubbard’s big night as he stopped 31 of the 32 shots he faced. Hubbard’s counterpart, Brouillette, also had a big night, managing to stop 39 of 41, but ultimately fell short.
This win brings the Wooster Oilers’ record to (16-13-3-0).
