Top Ohio high school forward, Grant Dickinson becomes the thirteenth player to sign a Tender with the 2017-2018 Wooster Oilers. The 5′11″, 170lbs skilled forward is from Westerville, OH. Dickinson, 16, played the previous season with the Westerville Warcats High School Varsity team. He notched 48 goals and 24 assists for Westerville this past season. Dickinson spoke about why he decided on Wooster when he said, “Playing for the Wooster Oilers will provide me with a great level of hockey that is close to home. In addition, the coaching staff is committed not just to winning, but to developing each individual player. Coach Aaron creates a positive environment for his players and I’m excited to play for him this upcoming season. I am confident that under his direction, I will grow as a player and a person”. Dickinson is an accomplished student-athlete as he won the Most Outstanding Player Award for both his freshman and sophomore year. He is also a First Team All Academic recipient.
