Local Ohio top forward, Daniel Critzer becomes the tenth player to sign a Tender with the 2017-2018 Wooster Oilers. The 6′, 170lbs standout forward is from West Salem, OH. Critzer, 17, played the previous season with the U18 AAA Cleveland Jr. Lumberjacks. He will be attending the NAHL Odessa Jackalopes Main Camp this summer. Critzer spoke about why he decided on Wooster when he said, “I am very excited to start my junior hockey career in a city where I have lived my entire life. I can’t wait to be a part of the positive, upbeat atmosphere that surrounds the Wooster Oilers organization. Everyone I’ve spoken to has great things to say about Coach Hernandez and the program he has put together. The player development and advancement opportunities are a huge part of why I’m looking forward to the upcoming season”. Critzer has been an NJPHL All-Star Nominee in back to back seasons.
“Daniel Critzer is a player that I am really happy is with us for this upcoming season. He is not only a local player, but he is a great kid who comes from a great family. He had a very good Pre-Draft Camp for us. Daniel is a very coachable player who I foresee great things from. He will make his mark in our division”, said Head Coach Aaron Hernandez.
