Brandon Spindlow becomes the third player to sign a Tender with the 2017-2018 Wooster Oilers. The 5′10″, 160lbs forward hails from Berea, KY. Spindlow, 18, played this previous season with the Northern Kentucky Norse U18 team. This previous season, Spindlow put up 13 goals and 19 assists for a total of 32 points in 29 games for Norse. His Northern Kentucky Norse U18 team had a great season and competed well at U18 Tier II Nationals. Spindlow spoke about why he Tendered with Wooster when he said, “In playing for Wooster, I look most forward to the dedication to hockey within the program. Also, the level of commitment that Coach Hernandez has to player development and progression. The organization has proven that they’re as good as any in moving players on to bigger and better things which is very impressive to me”.
“Brandon is a talented hockey player. He has natural abilities which make him easy to identify on the ice”, said Head Coach Aaron Hernandez. “He will fit in very well here and he will be a player that will surely make a name for himself every time he touches the ice”.
